Chris Curreri
Chris Curreri’s photographic and sculptural practice explores states of ambivalence and in-betweenness that precede the definition of things, their solidification into separate entities. Moments of contact, transformation, penetration, indistinction, but also contagion and intoxication: the image captures the tangle of bodies, it captures interlocking lips and tongues in a series of close-ups, it reveals the exquisiteness of misshapen clay that has sagged and slumped under its own weight.
Exhibition produced in partnership with Occurrence.
